Big Hero 6 | Movie Review

Big Hero 6 is a Disney animated movie that is based off a comic book by Marvel. This movie takes place in what seems to be a futuristic city named San Fransokyo, a crossover between San Fransisco and Tokyo. This movie follows Hiro and his brother Tadashi. When a tragedy happens, a group of college students must fight evil. If that is the lamest plot summary ever, that is because I don't want to spoil any of the plot points in this movie.

This movie is freaking incredible. It's definitely better than Frozen and I may just like it more than Wreck it Ralph. There is one reason this movie is so good: Baymax. Yes the robot balloon in the trailers is even more funny in the movie. He is one of my favourite movie characters of 2014, right up there with Rocket Raccoon and Groot. The other characters are also really funny, in particular the stoner like character named Fred.

The movie is also very well paced, the tone seems to shift almost seamlessly from comedic to sad back to comedic and ends with action. They are all done really well, it felt like a superhero movie that belongs in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Big Hero 6 is one of the best animated movies of the past decade
